Tall Tales Brewing Company is a small craft brewery on the Eastern shore of MD, outside of Salisbury, in the little town of Parsonsburg. They are committed to making handcrafted beers of high quality and excellent flavors. I personally feel these guys will give some of the big guys, both locally and nationally a run for their money. The team at Tall Tales is one of the friendliest and welcoming groups, I have had the pleasure to meet in the business. But do not let their charm fool you, these guys are serious about beer and food. But do not take my word for it, head on over to the brewery and see for yourself.
Tall Tales puts out some really nice beer and their selection is only growing. I recently had their Excalibur IPA and being a hop head, I was thoroughly happy and completely satisfied by what I was tasting. In my glass was a golden/orange color with a pure white head and good lace. Aromas of pine, grass and citrus (orange and grapefruit). First taste had a mix of hops and malt with a long hoppy finish. Hints of orange, lemon and pine melt on the palate. This is a very well balanced and solid IPA. A great hop bitterness with just the right malt backbone. Oh how I wish I had some Carrot cake to go with this beer!!
