Holly Grove Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery, located on the beautiful bayside ofVirginia's Eastern shore. They are committed to making hadcrafted-wines of high quality, (that, I personally feel will give some of the big guys a run for their money). Jonathan and his team are some of the friendliest, welcoming people, I have had the pleasure to meet in the wine biz. But do not let their charm fool you. These guys are serious winemakers making serious wines. But do not take my word for it, travel down to the winery and see for yourself.
I had achancce to sit with Jonathan and ask a few questions. As a child his favorite beverage was coca cola, but now he has evolved to a sparkling cranberry. Jonathans 1st wine experience was on a trip to France whe he was a highschool freshmen. His 1st wine epiphany was after tasting the result of his 1st bottling. His favorite food dish would be a tomato based seafood dish with fresh cheese. If Jonathan was not busy in the vineyard, he would love to be on vacation in the caribbean.
